Seattle is anything but ordinary. It's a place where bike messengers share elevators with world-renowned researchers and where fisherman have lunch alongside top surgeons. It's a city where the extraordinary is commonplace and commonplace is anything but. And if you look closely, you just might discover that in Seattle there are amazing things happening all around you.
Hotel Accommodations
The hotel has a block of rooms set aside for CWAG meeting attendees. Call the reservations number at 1-800-223-8772 and request the CWAG Annual Meeting room block. A variety of room styles and sizes are available. The CWAG discounted room rates are also available pre and post meeting. As Seattle is a premier vacation destination during the summer months, we strongly encourage you to make your hotel reservations first, then your air reservations as soon as possible. The last possible day to get room reservations within the CWAG room block is July 11, 2008. If the room block sells out prior to that time, the Fairmont’s Concierge will be happy to assist you in locating another property nearby.

Meeting Attire
CWAG Meetings are entirely casual. Shorts and golf shirts would be most appropriate throughout the meeting. Temperatures in the summer usually 0hover around a pleasant 75, although occasionally it can reach into the 80’s and 90’s. Seattle summer climate tends more toward the dry than the humid. The best way to prepare for Seattle is to layer.
